Love in the Mirror is the implementation of Jonas Corona’s (a 6 year old) dream of creating a better life for people in need of food, clothing and shelter in his community. We serve the needs of disadvantaged youth and their families within the Los Angeles County and Orange County Areas. Our current programs provide food, clothes, toiletries and learning materials to these families. We also bring change to the community through our Youth Empowerment Workshop which allows kids, ages 5 to 15 to learn about how they can make a difference in their community To date, Jonas and Love in the Mirror have helped over 20,000 individuals with basic necessities. During the last quarter of 2012, Love in the Mirror was able to feed 6,000 people and collect over 8,000 pairs of socks and 600 toys. There was a 250% increase to the amount of individuals we served. With events like this, Love in the Mirror can plan to serve 50,000 more individuals by the end of this year. Love in the Mirror is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. Our Federal Tax ID is 27-1309206.
