Love INC of Brevard operates within the broader nonprofit network Love In the Name of Christ, focusing on coordinating church resources to assist people in need. Based in Melbourne, Florida, this affiliate serves the local community by mobilizing volunteers and partner churches to provide services that address dignity, education, economic empowerment, and transformation for clients and the wider community. The organization manages a Clearinghouse process that assesses requests, refers individuals to appropriate help, and follows up, while also identifying gaps in local services to guide church ministries in filling those needs. Target beneficiaries are individuals seeking support through faith-based collaborations, with the value lying in prevented denial of help and the enhanced coordination of community resources. The affiliate is part of a nationwide network comprising hundreds of churches, community agencies, and volunteers that collectively assist a large number of people each year.
