LUISS Guido Carli is an independent higher education university located in Rome, Lazio, Italy, founded in the 1970s as a successor to the Pro Deo institution. It organizes its curricula around four departments—Economics and Finance, Business and Management, Law, and Political Science—aimed at equipping students with adaptable skills and a sense of control over their future. The school structures its programs with mandatory full-time attendance, a strong emphasis on foreign languages and IT, a substantial library, and extensive student support including tutoring, seminars, and internships.

LUISS maintains a privileged connection with the corporate world, with more than 200 collaborators spanning companies, public bodies, and multinationals that offer opportunities to graduates and final-year students. It also runs an international exchange network linking to around 100 universities across Europe and beyond, and offers career orientation and internship programs. A recent collaboration in 2026 involved Enel Group and Enel Foundation working with Luiss Business School to study youth attitudes toward the energy market and the energy transition.
