Lunii is a Paris-based mid-sized company in the Computers and Electronics Manufacturing sector that develops interactive audio storytelling experiences for children, aimed at supporting parents in their kids’ learning while reducing screen time. Founded in 2014 by Maëlle, Igor, Thomas and Eric, it launched Ma Fabrique à Histoires in 2016 and FLAM in December 2023, and operates its own publishing arm, Les Éditions Lunii, to continually enrich its content. It has been described as the first French company in the market for audio storytelling devices, indicating its distinctive position within the niche. The offerings are geared toward families with young children, providing a library of interactive audio books—more than 500 titles—that encourage imagination, curiosity, and learning in a playful context. Lunii serves caregivers seeking engaging educational experiences and has expanded its content through partnerships, including a 2022 licensing deal with Nelvana and The Clifford Ross Company to bring new Babar stories to the Luniistore. The company is based in Paris, Île-de-France, with a workforce organized into several teams, and it earned the LUCIE label in 2024 recognizing its ongoing responsible practices.
