The Lutheran Home at Kane (LHK) is a faith-based, not-for-profit social ministry organization committed to serving rural Pennsylvania's most vulnerable residents – the elderly, sick and recovering – with quality and compassionate care for over 55 years. Today, LHK has achieved the designation of a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) – spanning services from retirement to end of life. LHK’s facilities include a 90-bed skilled nursing home, a 33-bed personal care facility and six independent-living cottages. The High Point Foundation, also a 501(c)(3) non-profit, works to advance the charitable mission of the Lutheran Home at Kane through programming for pastoral and spiritual care, and fund development to support residents in need, staff development and capital improvements.
