Lyme Central School District is located in Northern New York on the northeast shore of Lake Ontario in the Town of Lyme. This predominantly rural township includes the villages of Chaumont and Three Mile Bay, and many miles of beautiful eastern Lake Ontario shoreline. The district is composed of one pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade school building which was originally built in 1934 . On the doorstep of the Thousand Islands region, short trips of 2-3 hours can place you in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains or the Finger Lakes region of New York State. The school mascot for the approximately 357 students in grades PreK-12 at Lyme Central School is the Lyme Indian and the school colors are green and gold.
