Magnificat is a Catholic publishing firm based in the New York City area. The firm's flagship publication is "Magnificat," an award-winning, pocket-sized prayer booklet and devotional guide published each month in English, Spanish, French, German and Lithuanian. The English edition, introduced in 1998, has a monthly circulation of approximately 230,000. Presented in a day-by-day format, each "Magnificat" includes the daily Mass readings, morning and evening prayers, Saint profiles, a sacred art commentary and other spiritual writings. Magnificat also publishes Advent, Lenten and Rosary Companions as well as "MagnifiKid!," a Sunday Mass guide read each week by more than 30,000 children in the United States. Magnificat has published several books, including the bestsellers "Benedictus," "The Wonders of Lourdes," "Praying with Saint Paul," "The Seven Last Words of Jesus," "Splendors of the Magnificat" and "Praying with Saint Matthew's Gospel." In 2010, the firm also unveiled a new line of children's books (in association with Ignatius Press).
