Magnolia Green Industries (MGI) is a family owned, renewable energy and sustainable technologies firm headquartered in Hattiesburg, MS. We strive to push the limits of being a "Green" company through relentless focus on sustainable technologies.

Founded by Louis Gagnet & Bill Mowers, Ph. D. in 2014, MGI's core business is refining biodiesel produced from used cooking oils (UCO) collected from local / regional sources. MGI's Hattiesburg, MS production facility utilizes a two-stage reaction process to create ASTM 6751 specification biodiesel from low and high quality oil feedstock. Our emphasis on incoming oil filtration and preparation, process controls, and thorough testing throughout the refining process ensures a consistent, high quality product you can feel confident about running in your diesel engines.

While biodiesel is at the forefront of biofuel production at this time , MGI is quickly gearing up to enter other green sustainable markets, such as biogases via anaerobic digestion (biomethane) and gasification of biomass feedstock (syngas) as well as a recycling, solar, solar thermal and entering the aquaponics field to supply organic, locally grown and sustainable agriculture and fish to local restaurants and markets. MGI also offers consulting services for development and implementation of sustainable technologies.
