Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, based in Charleston, South Carolina, operates as a historic site featuring one of the nation's last surviving large-scale romantic gardens. Originating as a substantial working rice plantation in the colonial era, the property has welcomed visitors since 1869 to experience its gardens and the flora and fauna of the Lowcountry. The operation is part of the Museums, Historical Sites, and Zoos sector and is supported by a small to mid-sized team. In recent years, Magnolia has initiated an African-American history program titled From Slavery to Freedom to acknowledge the knowledge and cultural contributions of enslaved Africans brought to the Lowcountry. In October 2024, Magnolia Plantation & Gardens formed a partnership with Attractions.io to enhance its guest experience.
