Maki came to the U.S. from Japan in 1999 to study Int'l Business at UCLA. After she completing her studies, she worked for a Los Angeles-based law offices with a strong practice in corporate, international, and immigration law.
Fluent in both Japanese and English, she developed practical business skills helping the firm's clients start new businesses or establish new branches in the U.S. After leaving the law offices, she further developed her business skills in corporate planning including management, sales and marketing, planning, and public relations among others - skills that made her a sought after business consultant. The successful result of her efforts can be seen in the many clients she helped to incorporate and launch their businesses.
With her energy, knowledge, and practical experience supporting client business large and small, she earned the trust of her clients and created important cross-industry connections. Including in her client base are well known and respected Japanese companies she assisted in the U.S., and U.S. companies she helped to develop business in Japan.
