Manhattanville College School Of Education has a long history of preparing teachers and leaders, and a longstanding, uniquely positive working relationship with the school district community to prepare high-quality teachers and leaders for schools. Our signature community outreach initiative, the Changing Suburbs Institute® (CSI), works with selected schools and the community to help with the education of an increasingly diverse student population in the changing suburbs, particularly Hispanic youth. CSI includes partnerships with 8 Professional Development Schools, a consortium of school district and community representatives, and a parent education component. Extensive partnerships include Teacher Centers, BOCES, private schools, and professional organizations. The School of Education offers flexible day and evening classes that accommodate the busy schedules of working professionals. We offer a variety of degrees including master of arts in teaching, master of education, master of professional studies, professional diplomas, doctor of education, and certificates of advanced study. With over 60 programs to choose from, the possibilities after graduating are endless.
