For the slightly more adventurous, and large stomached, try the Man vs. Maple Challenge ($34), which pits your body against a 3 foot long prime rib and pastrami sandwich. The slightly more sane can stick with the Fish and Chips ($12) or Apple Glazed Pork Chops ($15). Beyond the meat dishes, Maple Tavern's baby penne pasta Mac and Cheese ($12) and their Fettuccine Carbonara ($12) can give any Italian restaurant a run for their Italian currency monies. Those with room can indulge in their child-like side with a Tavern special Root Beeer Float ($7) with toasted, homemade banana bread and sugar glazed pecans. Sunday brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. features the perfect hair-of-the-dog bloody mary bar for the still reeling.
