It educates more than 370 students year‑round through its day school and summer programs, drawing from more than 37 Central Ohio communities. The school is the only Central Ohio institution offering a comprehensive set of academic and co‑curricular programs designed to meet the full range of needs of children with these learning differences. Marburn Academy holds accreditation from the Independent Schools Association of the Central States and participates in networks with NAIS and OAIS, with a language instruction program accredited by the Orton‑Gillingham Academy; in 2018 it was named an Apple Distinguished School, the first K‑12 recipient in Central Ohio. In 2023, the school partnered with Hicks Partners, LLC to advocate for parity in Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship funding relative to Autism Scholarship, reflecting ongoing engagement with policy and advocacy.
