MARE NOSTRUM ELEMENTS is an organization dedicated to the expression of human emotion through dance, theater, and movement that carries out its work through a performance group (MNE creates), training outlet (The Wave Within!), and production company (MNE presents). Since 2001, Mare Nostrum Elements has explored the points of intersection among artistic disciplines and has shared the results through performances, workshops, and outreach programs.

Our primary mission is to create emotionally-driven stage productions that explore and celebrate dance, theater, and movement. In addition to creating original works, MNE serves as a production company for artists whose vision fits MNE’s mission, and a training outlet to nurture and strengthen the performing arts community.
