Trauma can be a difficult thing to deal with, but it doesn't have to hold you back forever. As a trauma therapist for the past 20 years, and I've seen my fair share of people struggling with the effects of trauma and the process of healing from it. My goal has always been to help them find their way back to themselves, to become stronger and more resilient than they were before. But as much as I have loved being in the therapist's chair, I've realized that my impact can be greater and have further reach outside of the office. So I've made the transition into becoming a resilience consultant who helps others do just that: build resilience in the workplace, through training, coaching, or workshops.
