Marketshare Publications operates in the advertising services space, offering targeted, cooperative direct mail programs that share printing, paper, and postage costs. Based in Overland Park, Kansas, the company has served the direct marketing industry for more than 30 years and positions itself as the largest consumer card deck publisher in the United States. It publishes seven card-pack titles with an annual circulation exceeding 10 million and concentrates on hobbyist markets such as Gardening, Hunting, Woodworking, Do-It-Yourself, and Senior segments. The programs aim to generate new customers at a fraction of the cost of solo direct mail by delivering advertising to recent mail-order and web buyers. Card Packs are presented as a means to boost sales, drive qualified website traffic, reduce customer acquisition costs, and grow a house list, aligning the company with a specialized niche in direct marketing.
