With a focus on quality and reliability, the business quickly evolved to meet growing customer demand. By 1990, our services expanded to include Janitorial Services, Water Damage Restoration, Oriental Rug Care, and Hard Floor Care—setting the foundation for our long-term growth. Our commitment to excellence has always been rooted in continual investment—both in people and technology. We acquired top-of-the-line truck-mounted carpet cleaning systems and ensured our technicians received industry-leading certifications. This dedication paid off. In 1998, we took a major leap forward by acquiring a 5,000-square-foot facility to support our growth and professional operations. Between 1998 and 2005, we expanded into new service areas such as Commercial Carpet Care, Window Cleaning, and Maid Services. With each addition, we reinforced our reputation as a trusted, full-service cleaning provider across Northeast Ohio. Today, Mark’s Cleaning Service (now MCS Building Solutions) is a multi-division company with more than 160 employees and contracts to service over 200 buildings—totaling millions of square feet cleaned each week. From industrial plants to healthcare centers, educational institutions to corporate offices, we provide janitorial services, floor care, and specialty cleaning that meet the highest industry standards. We’re proud members of the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) and the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), ensuring that our practices and professionals remain at the forefront of the cleaning industry.
