Built in 1990, the facility is voluntarily accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Offering the most modern equipment and medical procedures available, Marshall North features all private rooms, fully modern ER and OB units, a 20-room Day Surgery Department, four operating suites with additional endoscopy labs, comprehensive diagnostic imaging and laboratory departments, and a 22,000-square-foot outpatient rehabilitation and fitness center featuring a 75-foot lap pool. Marshall Medical Centers South is a 150-bed acute care community located in Boaz, AL and offers a variety of services including laparoscopic surgery, family-centered maternal and child health services, general and vascular surgery, orthopedics, general medicine and intensive care services, and advanced diagnostic services. An extensive array of outpatient services are provided and each year more than 40,000 emergency patients are treated in our Level II Emergency Department. Marshall South is also voluntarily accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Marshall Professional Center provides a convenient central location for several specialty services offered by Marshall Medical including the Sleep Disorders Center, the Wound Healing Center, the Pain Clinic, and Marshall Imaging. The Marshall Cancer Care Center is a 22,000 square foot patient-friendly facility offering the latest oncology treatments for the many cancers that respond to well-established treatment protocols.
