Mary Widner, President has been working in the insurance industry for over 30 years.  She began working part-time at a local Bradenton Nationwide Insurance Agency and became a licensed insurance agent in 1991.
In 1999 Mary opened and quickly grew her own Nationwide Insurance exclusive agency in Sarasota.  Much of her success is due to her reputation of providing excellent customer service, knowledge of the industry and competency of meeting not only client needs but also those of the insurance providers and networking partners such as mortgage brokers, realtors, and car dealers, etc.
During her 10th year in business, she learned that her previous employer was planning to retire.  Mary agreed to purchase the agency that she began her career with, so in 2010 Mary opened her second location in Bradenton.
With Mary’s extensive experience and deep knowledge of insurance products, MWA is positioned to meet all objectives of our mission.  MWA is now an independent insurance agency offering numerous options for homeowners, auto, umbrella and commercial coverage’s.
Mary is a member of Entre Nous, a charitable organization that works to raise money to give back to our community.  Last year, Entre Nous gave over $40,000 through scholarships to local students, grants to area nonprofit agencies, and emergency relief to families in crisis.
