Masala Baby was created in Brooklyn, NYC with a to create modern, eclectic, stylish yet wearable clothing for infants, toddlers and kids. 

Masala transliterated, is a combination of unique ingredients to create a surprising result. A pinch of turmeric, a dash of cloves, a sprig of saffron, and a handful of rose petals provide the inspiration for our signature spice colors, all delicately layered in the threads of this new collection. Merging cultures, changing attitudes and diverse aesthetics have brought about a style which is unique yet global, strangely familiar and simple yet exotic.

Masala Baby is sold through 200 brick & mortar shops, online, and various retailers like Nordstrom, Macy’s, Kidbox, and more. From infants and baby apparel to children's fashion, we have expanded our line to include organic pajamas, accessories and kids furnishings creating a cohesive brand statement across product categories.  Dipali Patwa, our CEO and Founder, leads a small team of women based out of SoHo, NY, and works with artisan & women-led groups across India to offer globally influenced styles with modern, contemporary twist. Masala Baby makes an effort to build partnerships with these groups so that the creation of our product can provide a sustainable long-term approach for them and their communities as well quick data based turn around timelines to address our Millennial mums and Gen X customer. Our approach is customer centric and data driven to create meaningful product for baby and kids.
