Masi is a leading producer of Amarone and has always interpreted the values of the Triveneto with passion.
Its history begins at the end of the eighteenth century, when the Boscaini family acquired fine vineyards in a small valley called “Vaio dei Masi”, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica. Over forty years ago they started an ambitious project to exploit historic wine estates, collaborating with the Counts Serego Alighieri in Valpolicella and with the Counts Bossi Fedrigotti, a prestigious brand from Trentino in Rovereto. Masi also owns organic vineyards Poderi del Bello Ovile in Tuscany and Masi Tupungato in Argentina.
It can boast an unquestionable expertise in the Appassimento technique, used since the ancient Romans times to concentrate colours, sugars and flavours in wines. This method has been innovated by the Masi Technical Group to produce the broadest and most qualified range of Amaroni, Recioti and original interpretations such as Campofiorin.
