Legacy shipbuilding Master Marine, Inc. has over six decades of experience (since 1961) and a track record of building 334 vessels plus numerous repairs and refurbishments, signaling reliability and long-term customer relationships in the shipbuilding and repair market.

Industrial capacity Significant investment in heavy facilities including a 720-ton floating dry dock and a 220-ton Marine TraveLift enables scalable service for OSVs, tugs, crewboats, towboats, barges, and fishing vessels, presenting opportunities for large-scale turnaround and maintenance contracts.

Certification and quality In-house AWS-certified welders and NACE-trained sandblasters/painters align with Coast Guard and ABS standards, offering compliant, high-quality repair and building services that can be pitched to regulated clients seeking reliability and pass/fail inspection readiness.

Small to mid-market focus Current revenue is under $1M with 51-200 employees, indicating a mid-market profile ideal for growth-focused clients seeking dedicated vessel repair, retrofits, or custom fabrication without the bidding complexities of mega yards.

Expansion opportunities The company’s breadth of capabilities in steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, plus offshore support vessel (OSV) and specialty craft servicing, suggests cross-selling potential with adjacent marine services, retrofit projects, and maintenance packages for fleets operating in regulated environments.
