MasterMind Neurofeedback provides a non-invasive , drug free  approach to treating symptoms of many neurological based conditions. It is basically a workout for your brain, training it to be more flexible and allowing it to respond quickly and more efficiently to daily life challenges.  Just like working out your body at the gym, neurofeedback works out your brain by improving the flexibility of your central nervous system which is the "control center" for all the functions within the body.

At MasterMind, we use state of the art neurofeedback technology to record and analyze your brain wave activity, turning it into useful information which is then fed back to your brain in real time (millisecond to millisecond) to improve your brain's overall functioning.  This type of training is extremely safe as your brain is not being pushed or pulled in a provider chosen direction.  The training is customized to your brain's specific activity and with repeated sessions the brain will learn to re-organize itself into a more efficient operating state. 

Although this type of training has been around since the 60's, it has recently gained momentum with the medical community in 2012 when the American Academy of Pediatrics rated Neurofeedback as a Level 1 "Best Support" Intervention' for ADHD.

At MasterMind our focus in on training not treatment, so no diagnosis is required.  Our goal is to optimize brain function, working on the whole brain at the same time.  Training takes place on a sub-conscious level requiring no active participation from the client, thereby not pushing or pulling the brain in any specific direction. The clients entire job is to relax in a comfortable chair and enjoy the music and/or movie.
