The Minnesota Alliance for Volunteer Advancement (MAVA) advances the power of volunteerism to deepen community impact through uplifting community voice, building connections, providing education, and promoting advocacy.

MAVA’s work is rooted in advancing equity for all marginalized and underrepresented communities across Minnesota. Through our strategies of field-based data research and uniquely designed training and workshops, we aim to curate spaces and opportunities to inform and educate the non-profit sector on the importance of intergenerational equity in volunteerism and the embedding a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion into their way of work.
