In 1956, decorated B-17 Bomber Squadron Commander, Kenneth Maxwell, started the business as the Nashville branch of Tri-State Roofing. In 1963, it became Maxwell-Webster Roofing. About 20 years later, the business officially became Maxwell Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc. More than half a century later, the business is still operated by members of the Maxwell family. From a local business that originally served Middle Tennessee, Maxwell quickly expanded to Northern Alabama and Southern Kentucky. In 2010, Maxwell opened a satellite office in Huntsville to serve the demands of the northern Alabama region. Today, Maxwell enjoys a highly-regarded reputation across the Mid-South region as an honest and capable commercial roofing and sheet metal contractor.
