CEO and designer Corey Lolley is the visionary leader of Maya Jewelry. Her journey in the industry began in 1992 as a professional piercer, cultivating a deep bond with the piercing community and fueling her passion for body jewelry. In 2000, Corey founded the ONE Project, a pivotal 5-day retreat set amidst the mountains outside San Diego. This transformative event provided rites of passage and nurtured community within our unique demographic.

Drawing inspiration from her wanderlust, Maya Jewelry was established in 2006, finding its roots in the vibrant landscapes of Bali, Indonesia. In 2017, our production relocated to Mexico City, enabling Corey to maintain her hands-on approach with our manufacturing teams. Under Corey's expert guidance, our jewelry consistently meets the highest standards of quality, ensuring it remains nickel-free and biocompatible.
