Founded in 1978, MBA Work Comp Lien Unit was one of the first businesses of its kind, specializing in the unique and complicated world of Workers' Compensation Liens and Collections. The MBA staff are highly experienced in the negotiation of work comp bills, are experienced hearing representatives to handle court issues at the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and well trained to deal with adjusters, attorneys and other medical professionals.

After more than 20 years in the business, the founder retired in 1999 and turned the business over to her well trained daughter Shadoe Gray who grew up in the business! An accomplished business woman herself, Shadoe excitedly took over her role and combined it with her extensive IT background and brought the company to the next level with advanced technology. In the ever-evolving world of Work Comp she kept on top of the changes with continuing education for herself and her staff, and through that evolution, chose to focus and specialize MBAs services to providing Lien, Collection and Med-Legal Litigation services exclusively to Radiology and Diagnostic Testing Providers.
