McDowell Mountain Golf Club operates a public golf course in Scottsdale, Arizona. The property sits on land jointly owned by the Federal Bureau of Reclamation and the City of Scottsdale, with operating rights later acquired by Phil Mickelson and Steve Loy. A redesign led by Randy Heckenkemper reworked corridors, fairways, teeing grounds, and the integration of waste bunkers to influence play. The course serves golf enthusiasts and public players and stretches to 7,072 yards on the western slopes of the McDowell Mountains, adjacent to the WestWorld equestrian center. In 2019 it was recognized as one of the top 10 public golf courses in Arizona.
