McEnroe Organic Farm is a family-owned farming operation based in Millerton, New York, founded in 1952. The farm focuses on producing certified organic vegetables, fruits, herbs, and livestock feed, along with premium soils and compost, serving markets with local, seasonal groceries and a public educational component. It emphasizes sustainable practices such as crop rotation, biological pest control, composting, cover cropping, and extended-season growing in greenhouses and cold frames, enabling production from early spring to late December. All livestock—pigs, lamb, chicken, and seasonal turkey—are pasture-raised, with no added hormones, antibiotics, or GMOs in feed. The organization also operates an educational garden and hosts tours and events, supporting a broader community interest in sustainable agriculture. Recently, the farm announced a partnership with Durst Organization Inc., highlighting collaboration with other sectors while continuing its long-standing organic farming and soil-compost production activities.
