In 1981, Verlon L. McKay, CPA started what became known as McKay & Carnahan, Inc. Previously , Verlon had been a partner and Regional Tax Coordinator with a national CPA firm. In 1987, William T. Carnahan, CPA joined the firm. He too had been a partner in a national CPA firm and he specialized in accounting and assurance services. Other members of the management team include Alan McKay, CPA, and Cheryl McKay Moffatt, CPA. The varying backgrounds of the indivduals in the management group allow the firm to be a "ll professional services CPA firm." The firm maintains a close personal relatoinship with each client, while providing timely high quality services. For example, under the American Institute of Certified Public ACcountants' quality review program, all reports on the firm's quality control system have been unqualified. 

The firm's clients include businesses with annual revenue from under $2 million to more than $100 million. Our service business clients include attorneys, pension plans, not-for-profits, medical practices including physicians, dentists and periodontists, and real estate developers. We have a larger number of retaurants and manufacturing companies such as high technology, rubber, pipe, machine tool, instrumentation, processors, parts suppliers, and distributors.
