McQueen Kalligan has been an independent brokerage agency since 1982.  What started as a small Transamerica General Agency, has grown to one of the largest Transamerica General Agencies in the country offering products from 18 quality life insurance carriers.   Locations in San Diego, Orange County, and Portland serve customers not only in Southern California and the Pacific Northwest, but the entire United States.  McQueen Kalligan is a founding member of the AimcoR Group LLC, a national marketing organization.

McQueen Kalligan utilizes technology that allows our brokers to do business remotely; accessing carrier forms, running rate quotes, and even taking an E-signature application.  We also provide underwriting questionnaires for specific health issues, a trial application to evaluate a client’s health, and contact information for all our staff.  

Best in class technology also helps us achieve our main goal, excellent personal service.  McQueen Kalligan utilizes underwriting software (XRAE) developed for a multi-carrier platform.  The software allows us to instantly evaluate client information to deliver more accurate quotes and suggest the most appropriate carrier for a client.  We also utilize an experienced underwriter to evaluate clients’ medical conditions and outline medical records.  This provides faster service for our brokers and produces better results for their clients.
