McWaters & Associates, REALTORS was founded in 1973.  Four decades of hard work and commitment have led to a highly respected and successful company where many friendships and solid business alliances have been built.

The company owes much of it's success to Louise "Bebe" McWaters, the founder. Her gentle and gifted touch has made McWaters & Associates the thriving real estate company that it is today. A former head cheerleader at the University of Alabama, she built her company on enthusiasm and a positive outlook. Her dedication shows through the devoted agents and the quality of her ethics, education and experience. Over the years, Bebe taught her children about the family business and, most importantly, instilled in them the values which remain the foundation of the company today.  In 1997 Bebe was awarded the highest honor a REALTOR can receive, Realtor of the Year, and in 2004, her youngest son, Lee followed in her path.  Although Bebe is still the managing broker in the firm, Lee purchased the company in 1995 and continues the tradition of hard work and honesty with a personal touch. 

Lee, a long time Memphian, graduated from Memphis University School and received a B.A. in History from Southern Methodist University where he also studied real estate. He has been actively involved in the local market for over twenty years and has served on the Board of Directors for the Memphis Area Association of Realtors as well as a director for the Tennessee Association of Realtors. He is a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club in addition to being a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI), a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and a Certified Real Estate Managing Broker (CRB). Lee is carrying on the family tradition which was put into motion by his mom & dad.
