It began in 1957 as Bemis Employees Credit Union serving Bemis Manufacturing employees and their families, expanded in 1995 to include Richardson Industries staff, adopted the Meadowland name in 1997, and broadened its charter in 2000 to serve anyone living or working in Sheboygan County. In 2013, the credit union moved its main operations to a site on North Main Street in Sheboygan Falls, consolidating its presence there.
