Mechanical Simulation Corporation provides the most accurate and computationally efficient methods for simulating the dynamic performance of cars, trucks, motorcycles, and specialty vehicles. Originally developed at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI), the code generator was used at UMTRI to create new vehicle models with unparalleled computational efficiency. This original symbolic multibody program has been continuously developed and maintained at Mechanical Simulation in order to generate core equations for the 3D multibody vehicle models in BikeSim, CarSim, and TruckSim. Mechanical Simulation’s suite of vehicle simulation products are universally the preferred tools for vehicle dynamics, ECU development, and test engineering. In a time of limited resources and compressed design and testing cycles, Mechanical Simulation has designed a unique set of tools for analyzing vehicle performance in complex simulated driving environments.
