The Medicare Rights Center is a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring access to affordable health care for older adults and people with disabilities. Through counseling, education, and advocacy, we empower people with Medicare, their families, and the professionals who serve them. For more than 35 years, Medicare Rights has been a trusted, independent voice working to protect and strengthen Medicare. Each year, millions of people turn to us for clear information and personalized guidance. Our national helpline, online resource Medicare Interactive, professional training programs, and community education initiatives reduce barriers, improve access to benefits, and help people navigate an often complex system with confidence. We pair this direct service experience with strong policy and advocacy work at both the state and federal levels. By elevating the real-world needs of people with Medicare, we inform and influence reforms that make the program more equitable, accessible, and sustainable. Together with our supporters, partners, and volunteers, we are building a future where every person with Medicare can live with health, dignity, and peace of mind.
