MPI is a non-profit association serving the global meeting and event industry. Founded in 1972 and based in Dallas, Texas, it offers education, networking opportunities and venues for business exchanges to professionals in the field. The organization supports a worldwide community that includes about 60,000 meeting and event professionals, with roughly 15,000 engaged members, across nearly 70 chapters and clubs in more than 70 countries. MPI serves its members by facilitating learning, networking and professional exchanges, and it acts as a voice for the promotion and growth of the industry. The association supports member participation through conferences and congresses, including events such as the World Education Congress and the European Meetings & Events Conference. In June 2026, the MPI Türkiye Chapter received the RISE Award for Membership Achievement at the RISE Awards.
