The MEGA Group is the independent system provider in the German future market for refurbishment, renovation and modernisation. Founded by craftsmen in Hamburg in 1901, MEGA can look back on 115 years of cooperative tradition this year.
Today the company belongs to over 5,600 independent master painters, plasterers and floor layers and is the largest independent trading company in the industry. At more than 100 locations of the MEGA Group, around 1,600 employees work every day for the trade and therefore around 50,000 customers. 

The full range for the skilled trades includes paints and plasters, floor and wall coverings, thermal insulation systems, dry construction materials, machines and tools as well as banking and insurance services from MKB Mittelstandskreditbank AG. The sales volume of the MEGA Group, including equity investments, amounts to around EUR 380 million.
