Members Choice WV Federal Credit Union, otherwise known as MCWV, was chartered on November 10, 1942 as CONRAIL Credit Union for railroad employees. In July 1997, our name officially changed to Members Choice WV Federal Credit Union, and in May 2000 we opened for business in a brand new building built for our members located at 201 Ohio Avenue on the West side of Charleston, WV. The credit union originally served employer groups who were not large enough to form their own credit union, but wanted to offer their employees credit union services at no cost to the employer. We are now a community chartered credit union serving all who live, work, worship, volunteer, or attend school and businesses or other legal entities in Boone, Braxton, Cabell, Calhoun, Clay, Gilmer, Jackson, Kanawha, Lincoln, Logan, Mason, Mingo, Pleasants, Putnam, Ritchie, Roane, Wayne, Webster, Wirt, and Wood Counties in West Virginia and their family members!
