The Menachem Education Foundation (MEF) is a foundation established in 2008 to enhance learning opportunities within the Jewish world, with a focus on Orthodox and ultra-Orthodox communities. Its aim is to raise standards in Jewish education by introducing professional practices into Jewish schools and by ensuring children are intellectually engaged and prepared to navigate their futures. MEF concentrates its work on three areas—teachers, school leaders, and educational infrastructure—to create viable, sustainable Orthodox and ultra-Orthodox school models. Headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, MEF supports more than 40 Jewish schools worldwide and serves roughly 15,000 Jewish children. The organization designs programs that respect religious and cultural traditions and emphasizes leadership development, curriculum development, and digital standardization to improve classroom practice. A notable recent development is the September 2024 launch of the Chabad Curriculum Database, a centralized platform with more than 200 ready-to-use curricula for grades from preschool through high school.
