Mercedes-AMG High Performance Powertrains (HPP) is headquartered in Brixworth, Northamptonshire, where up to 1,000 highly skilled and ambitious people design, manufacture, test, and race the Formula 1 power units that power our partner team, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, as well as our Customer Teams.

Alongside our F1 programmes, our pioneering Advanced Technologies team applies cutting edge F1 expertise to high performance automotive projects, including the Mercedes AMG ONE, the Mercedes Benz Vision EQXX, and the record-breaking Concept AMG GT XX.

Our success is built on three core pillars: Quality, Technical Excellence, and Speed & Flexibility. These foundations have enabled HPP to achieve eight Drivers’ Championships, ten Constructors’ Championships, and 229 Grand Prix victories across the 2014–2025 F1 Hybrid Era.
