Mercy Corps Northwest is the domestic branch of Mercy Corps, the international humanitarian agency headquartered in Portland, Oregon. Our work parallels the mission of our parent organization: to build more just, productive and resilient communities. Our work focuses exclusively in the Pacific Northwest in Oregon and Washington.

Through microloans, grants, and small business education, we  help entrepreneurs start and grow small businesses. Through our classes at women's correctional facilities and our Reentry Transition Center, we help ex-offenders transition from prison to community. Our Refuge Gardens program works with recently resettled refugees to build small gardening enterprises. 

At Mercy Corps Northwest, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to improve their life, regardless of their background and that with access to the right resources and training, people can create opportunities for themselves.
