Meridian Health is a not-for-profit health care organization and the largest integrated network of its kind in New Jersey, delivering a full spectrum of medical services, research, and patient-centered care. The network comprises 17 hospitals across the state—from Bergen to Ocean counties—including three academic medical centers, two children’s hospitals, nine community hospitals, a behavioral health hospital, and two rehabilitation hospitals. It also operates more than 500 patient care locations, including ambulatory and surgery centers, home health services, long-term and assisted living facilities, ambulance and air medical transport, rehabilitation and fitness centers, and physician practices.

Headquartered in Edison, New Jersey, Meridian Health serves communities across the state with a substantial workforce and thousands of physicians, reflecting its scale in the regional health care landscape. In September 2023, it announced a partnership with Greater Bergen Community Action and Acelero’s Head Start and Early Head Start programs to expand its No Hit Zone initiative into additional communities.
