In 2012, Meruelo formed its Media Group and added the cable channel, Super 22 to its growing media assets. In 2014, Meruelo Media added radio to its media portfolio with the acquisition of legendary FM radio station KDAY 93.5 in Los Angeles and then KDEY in San Bernardino-Riverside, California.
