We are located in Mechanicsville, Virginia, serving Hanover County and the greater Richmond area. With a very warm and active membership, Messiah Lutheran Church's mission is "To share the good news of Jesus Christ and to invite all to join us in faith, worship, and service." Our growing congregation is a member of the Virginia Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). From 1995-2016, our Messiah Lutheran School sought to provide an affordable, quality, holistic educational experience - developing the child's body, mind and spirit within a loving, faith-filled Christian community. Our mission was "To invest in the lives of children and their families by providing a quality education and helping them develop a strong Christian foundation." Ages served range from infant care, preschool (classes, daycare, summer program) through elementary age (after-school care, summer program). Our school services closed on August 26, 2016. As our fellow child of God, we invite you to come and grow in grace with us. Messiah Lutheran Church is handicap accessible.
