Meth-Wick Community is a Life Plan Community in Cedar Rapids, IA for adults age 55 and older. Residents choose from five styles of living offered on our 68-acre wooded campus; independent living, Independence Plus, assisted living, memory care, and nursing care. Once a resident moves to Meth-Wick, they’ll never have to move again. Our wellness campus offers the largest range of health care options in the area. If a resident’s health needs change, they simply move down the street to a different area of campus where our capable staff provides expert care for their unique needs.  

We are a senior living community that’s redefining retirement. As a wellness campus with options for care, residents and staff alike embrace a culture of physical, mental and social wellness. 

We’re proud to be a locally managed nonprofit. That means we’re not owned by an impersonal conglomerate and we aren’t beholden to a board or investors. We are intentionally structured to make decisions based on the best interests of our residents and nothing else.

Since 1961, Meth-Wick residents have had the advantage of living in two communities — Meth-Wick Community and the city of Cedar Rapids. Residents have access to two state-of-the-art medical centers in town and the nationally-renowned University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Meth-Wick residents live just a few minutes from downtown Cedar Rapids, which is filled with endless activities, cultural attractions and entertainment.  It’s all part of our commitment to being a leading wellness campus with options for care.
