The MCC provides the collaborative environment for biopharmaceutical and device sponsors, service providers, and sites to improve clinical trial development through use of MCC standardized performance metrics (time, cost & quality). • Develop standardized performance metrics and tools • Support metrics and tools implementation • Share best practices among MCC members • Provide metrics and tools training • Provide performance benchmarking using member data • Produce publications to increase member knowledge The MCC is made up of industry volunteer working groups to develop and implement metrics and process improvement tools including: Standardized Metrics • Clinical Trial Performance Metrics • Central Lab Metrics • Cardiopulmonary Metrics • Imaging Metrics • Clinical Site Metrics • Risk Based Monitoring Metrics (in development) Process Improvement Tools • Protocol Quality Scoring Tool • Site List Quality Scoring Tool
