Mexia EDC's goal is to help promote the City of Mexia by attracting new business to Mexia and helping our existing businesses grow and expand.

The Mexia Economic Development Corporation is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation organized under the Texas Development Corporation Act of 1979 Section 4B. MEDC was authorized by a vote of the Citizens of Mexia in May, 1998. The Corporation is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors appointed by the Mexia City Council.
