We believe that the best cosmetic surgeons are great reconstructive surgeons, and that the best reconstructive surgeons are great cosmetic surgeons.  The techniques used to rebuild a nose after trauma or cancer are used to cosmetically reshape an otherwise healthy nose.  The knowledge used to lift, reduce, or augment a healthy breast, is applied to reconstruct a breast that has been partially or completely removed because of cancer.  The surgical skills necessary to repair a recurrent hernia after abdominal surgery are used to perform a tummy tuck.  The principles of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery are entwined and inseparable.  I enjoy the challenges of both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, realizing that both types of surgery enrich each other.
