The Michael Phelps Foundation (MPF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting water safety, healthy living, and the pursuit of dreams, particularly for children. Founded in 2008 by Olympic champion Michael Phelps, the Foundation offers a comprehensive program designed to build comfort and confidence through swimming and emotional health education.

At the core of MPF's initiatives is the IM Program, a multifaceted curriculum that includes learn-to-swim lessons, organized swim training, and lessons in physical and mental health and goal-setting. Over the years, the IM Program has reached thousands individuals worldwide through collaborations with organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Special Olympics International. 

The Foundation also partners with the Level Field Fund to provide financial support to talented swimmers facing economic barriers, ensuring that opportunities to pursue excellence in sport are accessible to all. 

With a vision to improve lives through swimming and beyond, the Michael Phelps Foundation continues to inspire and empower individuals to be more comfortable and confident in the water and in life.
