Michigan Disability Rights Coalition (MDRC) is a non-profit organization devoted to justice and equity for individuals with disabilities. For almost four decades, we've partnered with individuals, families, and organizations to foster disability pride, support leadership development and advocacy skills, end violence, and support true inclusion. At MDRC, collaboration isn't just a value—it's how we create lasting change. We bring people with disabilities to decision-making tables and ensure community voices guide our work through: Community-Led Advisory Groups that shape our projects and priorities Cross-Identity Partnerships that address the full spectrum of human experience Practical Resource Sharing that strengthens grassroots initiatives From offering our space to community groups to providing fiduciary support for emerging organizations, we believe in building collective power. Michigan Disability Rights Coalition's mission is to cultivate disability pride and strengthen the disability movement by recognizing disability as a natural and beautiful part of human diversity while collaborating to dismantle all forms of oppression. We support groups of people with disabilities who want to change the community in which they live through training, supported planning, and assistance with organizational development.
